Chebanse, IL.....

EdW

The local (NE IL) folks that I personally know that grow/develop isolines (not for any particular mfg) of seed corn tell me that ALL seed corns start out as pure non-gmo and are selected per traits exhibited in that state of physiology. The gmo characteristics are added after the isoline is selected. This was explained to me as I stood in the middle of in excess of 1000 experimental & tested isolines in the midst of a commercial corn field in July, 2011....locally. Again, that's here. Not sure about other areas.

Does that differ with your conception?
