1st Choice has a bunch of hybrids that will work in your area Greg. Beans, not so much, Seth at Schillinger has more. Might look at Apex mid to late group 3 on your best soils, they can branch out like a Christmas tree, my 3995 1st Choice LL beans have done the same branching.
It's good you are looking at all your options and I agree with your thinking.
