Texas/New Mexico Stateline | 200 ft barn, get another 100 ft of cable and put clevis and hook on it. Hook that to the hog, and hook the winch cable to the end of that. Pull in until you get to the end of the loose cable, then run your winch cable back out and hook onto the hog.
Would be a little extra work, but not much. I'd do it for $2500 savings. And a pain rolling up 100' of loose cable but might be able to make some kind of roller out of old wheel or something to keep it on. |
