Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums. | From Tuesday afternoon until 2am Friday morning we got somewhere between 27 and 32 inches of rain. We lost track last night because we got somewhere around 15 inches just last night. This is in ADDITION to the 8 inches we got from Irene. We usually get about 40 inches annually. It was very isolated here only about a 20 mile radius but it was devastating. The greater region got a lot of rain, but probably half of what we got. Here are some pictures. No structural damage, but the vegetable crops (aside from soybeans) will be close to total loss. I think all 800 acres of broccoli and squash is lost.
