NE Iowa | We ran our 9510 sidehill, or 9560 sidehill over 2200-2400 acres for the past few years and while you've got to keep the machine moving, it's certainly not impossible to run the baby of the fleet over that many acres. Amd I don't have the greatest of going beings we are in the sidehills and countours on 100% of our acres. I would agree with NEIL farmer that 3000 acres with a 9570 on good going would be achievable. Seems like bigger is the way everything is going and as previous posters above have said, the 700-800 acre operation can't buy a new combine that's really "fit" for his or her operation size | |
