Saskatchewan, big whitetail country!!! | Depends greatly on the time of year. I own a seed cleaning plant, so in winter, I get up 6 ish to be cleaning by 7, in seeding time 4-5, harvest time 7-730, the dog days of summer are when I sleep in till 8 to catch up on those 18-20 hour seed cleaning and seeding days. I have 3 little kids, and I try to see them as much as I can. i'm not one of those who will be on his deathbed someday, and say, "dang, if only I had worked harder!!!" Family is so important to me; to all of us, no? I refuse to not see my kids on a given day. Farming fits well into this aspect.
My kids are a great alarm clock. 7 is their time to get up, so it works out well if I need a prodding. I am a night owl, not a morning type. Not at all a morning type guy... |
