| Most of the time I fall a sleep after dinner at 10 p.m., wake up at 1 a.m. to make sure lights come on at milk barn and no phone calls about trouble at milking parlor. Go back to sleep till 4 a.m. and usally get up to pay bills and do paper work, and read local newspapers online. Our kids have to get up at 5:30 and get ready to board school bus at 6:15 a.m. in the morning. They don't get back till 4:30 - 5:00 p.m. We are 35 miles from town. Thanks to a new 4 day school week our district went to.
And during haying season all bets are off about regular work hours, usally start baling hay at 3-4 a.m. and quit by 10 a.m. | |
