| I rooted my droid 2 global. It was super easy. I then changed the operating system to cyanogen mod 7. A phenomenal system.its a gingerbread based system with zero bloatware. I have been using it for a few months now and my phone runs faster and smoothen than the stock verizon software. It also has the wifi teather built into the system. Plus multiple kinds of lock screens and ton more of cuztomizations. Honeycomb was made ground up for android tablets, where previous versions were made for the phone. Plus once rooted you can change the default font size so everything is easier to see. I did this for my dad. I highly recommend rooting. If all else fails you can always downloads the verizon software and go back to stock. | |
