WCIL | Nothing in any flood plain. Mississippi or Iowa rivers. The Mississippi has flooded to the east of Burlington 2X in less than 10 years.
Depends where both of you might be working. If in Iowa I'd suggest west of Burlington. If you are both working in Illinois I'd make certain to be up out of the flood plain. I'd really stay out of Gulfport.
Major shopping would have to be: Burlington, Galesburg or the Quad Cities. Same for Medical.
