What farm record keeping program are you using for the Mac?

I recently made an inquiry about farm accounting software to Ricks Computers, Danbury, IA., an Apple Computer dealer established in 1978. I pasted the response email from them below. I know nothing about these choices. But maybe someone else that sees this thread can give some feedback.

Tim,
We don't do much with Farm Accounting here anymore. Quite a few farmers have gone to just using a Quicken or QuickBooks package for their accounting. It is not specifically farm accounting software but can be tailored to some degree using different categories to manage finances.

I also did a little looking into alternatives and found the following programs. I don't really know a great deal about them but you could check into them to see if any of them fit your needs.

Hay and Crop Manager http://www.haymanager.com/
Ranch Manager http://www.lionedge.com/
LandMagic http://www.propaksoftware.com/landmagic.html
All three claim Mac compatibility.
For my own reference, please let me know what you think of these after checking them out.

Thanks.

Michael
