Not sure what areas you are trained to cover, but things like basic grain marketing ( understanding puts/calls/ hedgeing etc) , a grain storage/drying management course would be good as well. I have attended courses up here in Ontario put on by OMAF staff, fee was nominal, basically enough as you say to pay for travel and the coffee and donuts.
