Let us know how it works out and if it's a good one, give us the model number on it. I'm in the market for another transmitter and one that plugs into the bottom port would be just the thing for what I would use it for. I have one of the VR3 models that I've had for a few years, but I keep it in a tractor.

I've found that the lower power models work ok in the country, but in the city there is a lot of interference with them - even from traffic lights. The VR3 seems to work well anywhere.
