I like his music, real smooth voice.  On who to see before they retire I have to go with the Oak Ridge Boys.  I watched them the first time at the northern WI state fair in the mid 70's and have been to many of their shows since then. They have a new CD coming out mid Sept.  I have been to see George Strait, Reba and Lorrie Morgan.  All of them have one thing in common, they can sing.  They can give the band a break and sit down with a  guitar or sing acappella and sound great.  Many of today's singers need the music and a machine to make them sound good.  About the only ones I would really like to see yet are Martina McBride and Sugarland. Great singers with big voices.
