Subject: RE: What Is Steve Jobs' Most Important Invention?

North central North Dakota

I remember seeing the Lisa at Harris Labs in Nebraska.  Was interesting to see ands think how our computers work now compared to then.

That was the time when John Deere was test marketing selling IBM computer systems and I was at a training seminar for the AgDisk software that Deere was selling.  There was another Deere dealer at the training that also had an Apple franchise - would be interesting to see what his business has done over the years - or if it survived.  I looked at getting into Apple at that time also since some schools were looking at he TRS80's from Radio Shack or the Apple systems.

I sold a number of systems as well as a few other dealers but as you see, Deere was not selling computers through the dealers in the 80's, project ended.
