Subject: RE: Heating the rock / water method ? ? ?

central - east central Minnesota -

So, I wonder - what would happen, if you drilled a few holes (in a direction you want to split a rock) and then fired the rock and dumped water on it to cool it . . . . .   do you think you could control the direction of the splits?
Or would more cracks develope off the drilled holes ?

May have to find me a big rock and play a bit . . . .    lol
