I have had a lot of trouble and frustration with the trackball on my BB Tour. In the interest of fairness I feel I should report that I just received their last ditch (as far as we are concerned) effort, a new 9930.  I have to say this new model looks like a very nice combination of keyboard that I am used to along with a smooth working pressure pad and also a touch screen. Belt and suspenders the way I like things. Works a lot faster than the Tour.

I have tethered it to my laptop and used in place of the aircard that keeps dropping the connection and the 9930 seems to work well as a connection for my laptop to the Verizon 3G network.

There appears to be hope for Blackberry. I'll give it a couple weeks and if still performing we will be changing everyone over to the 9930. Much better than previous models - so far. jmho.
