It really does not matter how the corn plant was inoculated, once you have it Goss's wilt isn't going to go away anyhow. Probable the best thing to do is have your seed dealer or DSM take a tissue culture and send it in to confirm Goss's. If it is Goss's, planting a hybrid that has high ratings against Goss's is the first step to take next year. From reading other post here on agtalk crop rotation might not really matter, guys are seeing it corn on beans. I sure hope the seed industry can get ahead of this disease. | |
