Northeast Nebraska | We bought a new 10" a few years ago. Sprockets on swing out hopper were out of alignment. China chain broke. All the tires were flat on the hopper right away. Main drive chain too tight, also out of alignment, also made in china. On the 10" we could easily flood hopper and shear the bolt. I think the hopper should be geared slower, which you have done. We bought a new 13" last year. No problems.
Both augers bought from same dealer. I think alot of the problems have to do with the guy who puts them together. | |
