Subject: Westfield Auger problems

I have purchased a new 13 inch westfield auger with swing away and i wonder if anyone else is having to correct numerous problems with this machine ,,,, first time i tried it it was throwing beans out of the hopper onto the ground so i took off the four inch rubber strip and replaced it with a 12 inch ,, solved that problem,,, then it would spill large amounts of grain out on the ground from the spring loaded cover on the leg discharge because the feed augers fed too fast so I changed the sprockets on the feed augers from 14 teeth to 16 teeth to solve that problem,,,, then I noticed main drive chain very noisy ,,,,,factory had set the chain too tight,,,,,,,main drive sprocket set screws were very loose,,,,,had to tighten them,,,,,,,,,hydraulic lift hose was assembled intertwined with the lift cable and would have caused a catastophic faliure if i had not noticed it before the first time I raised up the auger,,,,,,,,main decal for safety warning was installed upside down and not readable,,,,,,, after just a few hours of use the main universal joint that drives the swingaway gearbox is sliding off the shaft, and since it is one quarter turn from the slot, the square key was never installed ,,,,,,,,Cables were rubbing each other found out the roller was missing that keep the cables from contacting,,,,dealer supplied another ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Contacted Westfield ,,,,,,have not had any response from them yet
