| Dave, is the front end in the picture a SpeeCo? Definitely not stock. SpeeCo looks quite similar to a Schwartz front except SpeeCo used modern 6 bolt wheels and hubs. The Schwartz front used the original OEM cast hubs and wheels. That pretty much limited tire size to 6.00 or 6.50-16.
I can remember not so many years ago complete new front ends were priced at $600. Neighbor has both now since he bought my Super M with 6.00-16 on a Schwartz front. He runs 9.5L-15 implement tires on his SpeeCo front. One very wet year stacking hay he ran the 10.00-16 fronts from my Ford tractor on the M. Sure helped on flotation.
