Best source is someone who had a YM2000 or MicroTrak but thought they had to have something more modern.  There is also usually at least a few listed on eBay....it appears that some keyboards use them. 

I think you have to stay with 1 mb or 2 mb cards.   Might be mistaken, look in the book.  

As far as reading them is concerned, all you have to do is go dig out any W95 or W98 laptop which you have laying around.  With the correct registry entries they will read them and once the data is read it can be broadcast over the local network to whatever computer you want it on....or even over the internet if necessary.
