I ran the tile about 42 inches deep and parallel with the heavy travel area. At the lower end where it crosses under the travel area I used PVC. This was just done last year and so far it's working. I had tried to fix it before with old tires and 3 in. gravel with no success. Should have done the tile much sooner.
