Subject: Re: spring wheat

Just finished up yesterday with spring wheat in NE South Dakota. Looked like 60 bu. Went 26.
Bought December Minneapolis Wheat today @823 because i believe this is widespread. Lots of wheat
being baled after making a couple rounds with the combine. Lots of solemn faces around. Also hearing
reports of EXTREMELY poor pollination. Many people saying that 1/3 of the whole length of the cob isn't
pollinated for whatever reason. being tipped back is one thing, but taking a chunk out of the whole length
of the cob is quite a drastic reduction in yield. also noticed that the cbot is raising the limit that corn
can trade. i believe corn has a good story behind it along with wheat. Whether or not it can fight the
deflationary headwind blowing right now is going to be interesting. i put a stop on the wheat @797.
hope the rest of you have better prospects for yields. good luck.
