Northern Idaho | The first one shows the old Lewiston grade. The hilly farmland of the palouse is directly behind the camera to the north. Pic looks south with Idaho on the left of the river (snake) and Washington on the right, elevation drops from 2600 to 700ft.
Second and third show the kootenai valley 3 miles from the canadian-Idaho border north of Bonners Ferry, ID where wheat, barley, canola, and hops are grown on a flood plain surrounded by mountains.
Fourth is the giant cedar tree near Elk river, ID here in Clearwater County. The tree is 19ft in diameter and the largest tree in North America east of the Siierra Nevada-Cascade crest.
