We liked the Kinetico system while we rented it. The bad thing was if it regenerated during the day you wouldn't have much water pressure for anything else while it was running. The flip side of that was you never ran out of solt water. We had a dispute with the dealer so we quit renting it. I don't know if I would have been able to bring myself to write a check to buy one.
