East Central Iowa
I saw one work. Shot dry bedding really well and did plug on a wet haylage bale. In dry hay we could find some pieces that were plenty long, but the rep said that the dual chop one would be very consistent 6 inch or less for mixers. I thought it was also pretty slow at processing compared to a hammer which takes alot more hp, so there is a trade off. I guess it is like anything depends on how you want to use it.
