Some apparently think they should be able just open a car door the first time without any training or guidance and have skilled abilities at the snap of their fingers. More than a few times "the lights are on but no ones home" moments have been applicable to me too.

Microsoft has many sources available to those without training to acquire the necessary tools to fullfill their computing needs or the level of understanding they need. Most can access the Help and Support found on the start menu of their computer. Prior to buying one may review "Best Practices for Implementing Windows" just a Google search away:
