seriously, we have a Mustang that came with an industrial Ford pinto style in it, it was different enough that parts were harder to get. It now has my favorite replacement engine...an Izuzu 4 cyl diesel, came out of a reefer unit I bought at junk yard for $200, and scrapped what was left for $100. I have done three re-powers now with that motor and it is just right for a skidder or small HP job. It is the same as was in Chevy LUVs and Izuzu pickups and Thermo King reefers. I have three spares for future MacGuyver Madness. | |
