NC		When we got married we thought we would probably being buying land
And most land for sale around here has a house on it.
So....... we bought a cheap trailer and ended up living in it for 12 yrs
Every piece of land we bought - didn't have a liveable house on it
Go figure
Finally gave up waiting and built one .

One suggestion-- make sure you can afford to heat and cool it
Some people around here are paying more for that--- than they are their house payment.
Figure beefing up the insulation (if needed) as part of the houses original cost.
