Not on the farm, because mine's small and a hobby, but in my other companies where machinery is not an option. Clearly db cooper doesn't get the scale of the problem. I require about 150 employees at any given time with average wages of $10 to $40 per hour......I'd bet his wage falls in that category somewhere. I've had an opening for a foreman at $22 per hour with vehicle and profit sharing for over a month and finally filled it yesterday with a transfer from the other side of the state. To think back to when is enough enough???? Once the ball is rolling and you're making more than average you have to keep it rolling until the day you decide to stop. I'm far too young to stop yet so more labor is a must. | |
