If the price is right, it's sorta like an investment, you get some equity in it now, for potiential use later (to leverage or add on to). If the location is good for resale or meets your needs, I don't think you could go wrong. The interest rates are not likely to go lower and most likely will go higher within the 5 yr plan . . . .
