NC
I have a chiwawwa mutt(7 lbs) that came from the pound
The family loves him (I tolerate him, although I admit hes a character)
What a brat!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am an excellent dog trainer- but I cannot overcome his posturing. Its too ingrained in his nature.
He won't do it to me-and its KILLING him not to- but everyone else is fair game.
The ONLY reason he is still alive is that his teeth don't meet - so he can't do anything but bruise you a little if he hits hard enough.
The family has made a game of fighting with him- most of the time its good natured between them- but every now and again hes not playing.
it entertains them all.

But for most dogs resource guarding that cannot be squelched is a trip to the wood shed.
