We built about two years ago and did put two in. One is a deep single compartment which is the regular sink. We then put in a small single compartment one for food prep and it gets used all the time. The coffee pot sits right beside the smaller one and is a lifesaver. We use both quite a bit and am so glad we did it. We have an insert we can put into the larger one to split it if need be.
Does anyone have 2 sinks in their kitchen?
