East Kansas, DeSoto | If these tanks become obsolete and cheap they make wonderful solar heated hot water tanks to preheat your water going to home hot water heater or dairy farm hot water heaters.. I have used one for over 20 years and will read better than 125 degrees in summer and I see 100 at times even in winter. Rinse with water and vinegar and then some dish water detergents and you have a clean tank. Paint with dark brown not glossy paint, surround with aluminum reflective material and you will be surprised. Enter the water to bottom of tank and take warm from the top. Food for thought. Gifford
