is the refuge the iso line of the other? even if so they can pollinate and mature differently but may give you a better look at the hybrid. I am pretty much from the epicenter of rootworms and that does not appear to be them but pictures may not do it justice. You would typically have no silk past the husk and they would be everywhere in the field usually don't pick on a refuge hybrid. Good luck
