NE ND | We're in the stages of building a new shop, originally it was going to be 60x100x20 with a 36'x18'6" roll-up in the end and 18x18 on the side but after talking with a few guys, it seems the really big roll-ups are nothing but trouble and then changed to a 45' bi-fold on the end with the same 18' on the side. We ended up going with 72x100x20 shop and a 50'x18'6" bifold and still the 18' roll up.
My main point is, when we switched from a 45' to a 50' bi-fold, the price difference for the extra 5' was pennies compared to the total cost of the building. I say, the equipment isn't going to get smaller, it may not get taller, but it will continue to get wider...therefore, the bigger the better (to a certain point of course :) | |
