| The Kubota will be a LOT lighter than the 6400. Power will probably be a bit less as well. They're rated roughly the same but IIRC, the Deere's of that vintage tend to overperform a bit more than spec... The Kubota will not.
I don't consider the two to be in the same class whatsoever... but the Kubota will more than likely be sufficient. Not a bad tractor at all. parts will be atrocious if you do need them tho... and that day will come.
Neighbour had to put a rad/fan/water pump in an older 8950 this spring. IIRC, the prices from the dealer came in just under 4 grand. Needless to say he found aftermarket... but I think it was something like 3200 for the rad alone.
