Subject: Re: concrete question

central - east central Minnesota -

Jay NE Ohio - 7/18/2011 19:23 (length in feet * width in feet* height in feet) divided by 27 = yards of concrete needed Example: I want to pour a pad for my dream shop. Shop is 100 x 100 and I want a 6 inch pad. 100 x 100 x 0.5 / 27 =185 yards of concrete

He is figuring a perfectly level compacted base . . . . .  unless you have the base laser leveled, you will use slightly more. Something closer to 190 yrds on something that large . . . . .
