Don't feel too bad, a couple years ago I drove by a field that had ~20 acres of waist high non RR corn sprayed with glyphosate. It was beside a well travelled 2 lane. You could tell where the operator of the sprayer stopped in the middle of field upon discovery of the mistake. The corn had been planted late to begin with due to a wet spring and the beans put in to try to recover from the mistake were late as well. They ended up frosted before even starting to turn.
