on farm futures they wrote that national average yields tend to be below trendline if there's alot of overnight lows above 64 degrees ( I think....give or take a degree or two).
Its my understanding that the warm nights are of bigger consequence during ear fill stage, and not as much before that. I'm no expert though.
How do warm overnight temps affect corn yeild?
