Oklahoma | Had similar symptoms from handling some treated lumber the last two Saturdays. Don't know if it is the chemicals in the wood, the heat, my sweat, or all the above but had itchy eyes, burning around my eyes and face and on my lips. All I did was load it at the lumber yard and unload it at home about mid day both days but then went on about working outside. An hour or so later it would be starting to burn. The air temp last Saturday was 112 where we were at so sweating probably helped. This last round was bad enough that water tasted funny and I didn't want to drink stuff but knew I had to in the heat. Got home, took a cool shower, tried to rinse my eyes and face really well. The next morning still had some tingling around my eyes and lips but not near as bad. By that night it was gone. I am now handling treated wood with gloves as I have never had that kind of a reaction to it before.
