We got 4" steel post cemented in on 15' center and just 2 rows of guard rail.. Works well, this is for a dairy cow return alley.. A cow can't get over 5' I've been told..
Most wont jump 5 root, but ........... the right calf can get over 5 foot let alone the right cow..........Gosh, Ive seem cttle in the klivestock auction jump up unbelieveably high.
