swmn | we had a 1465 gehl. really liked it, i did have to replace my tdc valve. it baled alfalfa fine, oats straw really good, corn stalks forget it, wont happen. watch for spots where the belts rub; these can be welded back up. watch the gate, this was not always welded the best from the factory. all in all not a bad baler if you are not going to use it heavy, also good for road ditches. teeth arent the easiest to replace but once you get the hang of it, it can be done. we moved on to a jd 467 which is a much better baler but much heftier price. good luck | |
