Subject: yeah, right.

Pittsburg, Kansas

It would not surprise me a bit if within the next 18 months there is "major further deterioration" in the economic outlook and there will be the current flavor "crisis" that erupts and has to be averted. If so,  Republicans and Democrats alike will be begging for more money printing.

What other options do they have? Cut SS in half? Or medicare? Yeah sure, that is going to go over well with all us baby boomers. Oh, we'll just cut out all the welfare along with government employees pay checks and pensions by a third, that will do it. Oops!, forgot they are about half the population so don't want to piss them off!

Really........what other option is there? There will be lots of posturing and noise made along with some delays, but in the end, they will print. Everyone will clamor for it, even us farmers. Don't want our payments cut........we are important. Everyone is important. We will print. There is no other politically expedient or acceptable option. The other option is to go through what Greece is right now. Think politicians are going to go through that voluntarily?????? That is the kind of austerity we are looking at unless we print.  If we print, the party will go on a little longer. No one wants the party to stop. Republicans will thump their chests and demand a pound of flesh but in the end, when push comes to shove, they will be no different than the Democrats.

Everyone will be begging for the next money "fix". We are an addicted nation. We've known nothing else for a couple generations.

John
