Martinsville, Ohio | And consider how in the world are we going to harvest, transport and market 93 million acres at even 150. Do the math, it is scary. What's the yield, twice 1944 record acres? What happens if the weather turns sour like last fall?
We are working hard here to make sure we get every ear harvested and sold but it is going to be a challenge. There is not THAT much storage in the US even though it increases daily.
Boy I bet we have helped the steel industry though!
