The agents should be able to earn $. But not through government subsidies. The system is a joke. There are other insurance systems in other countries that are far superior to our "insurance company golden goose" system. Inefficincies are abundant. When only 1 dollar out of 2 insterted into the insurance system makes it to the producer... we have a problem.
If all crop insurance is subsidized...
