Years ago we had a nh 890 with a factory kit that included a lift kit, to raise the axles app. 12 inches. also had to install a plate between the feed rolls and disconnect the lower feedroll drives. next install a screen behind the cutterhead. the head was a 2 row with snapping row units .

this set-up used alot of power! and would sheer the pins on feedroll drives very often.

we switched it over a couple of times, then gave up and used a combine! if you want it processed more, rent a roller or hammer mill, it will work better, imo.
