Central KY
Had this same issue last year. We took a sawzall with a thin blade that would fit through the old bushing and cut them in two. You will cut into the assembly a small bit, but it will not affect the integrity of the unit, as the bushing has a flair in the center. After cutting the bushing and it must be cut to be removed, you can drive out the bushing. We then found bushings at TSC and cut them with a chop saw to fit. Should take you no more than an hour or two per unit to put in new bushings. We broke a few sawzall blades in the process, but it was still much cheaper. Also the new bushing will not have a flair. Just find the bushing that fits the slide and unit. Think we had $150 and a couple of days time invested. 400 acres on them last year and zero problems. Getting ready to try to rebuild the slides this year.
