South central Minnesota | I also think USDA will put a big number out there when time comes, planted acres and a strong good to excellent ratings says trendline or above. As we have seen before planting date doesn't mean much to the trade or USDA when they start figuring yield, if there isn't an ear to guesstimate the yield for the August report they will use stalk count and average from other years to give an estimate. I can't say how large as I am looking at a decent crop right now looking at plant health, behind yes but not too far behind normal. | |
