I'm not sure how to answer your question.
I think most bull mkts end with a climax of sorts, some more dramatic then others.
I would expect the longer term the cycle is, the more dramatic the end will be.
Thats a reason I've been reluctant to call the top here,
as for a "60 year cycle" top, I expected something much more dramatic/volatile
then we've seen. That and the time of the year.
Actually, to me, this top didn't seem as volatile as 2008.
It seemed everyone became quite complacent with the mkt.
Therefor, I still wouldn't rule out more upside later on, maybe into next year or so.
The weekly chart could repair itself yet.
In looking at 2008, We have spent considerablr more time at the hi's this time.
Maybe We are just getting more used to these prices as time goes by?
